Privacy Policy

Short version: your camera feed never leaves your device. We store only your score and username on our servers. We use standard third-party tools for authentication, advertising, and analytics.

Camera access

The Original 67 game uses your device camera to detect hand movements. The video feed is processed entirely on your device using MediaPipe, a local machine-learning library that runs in your browser. No video frames, screenshots, or images are ever transmitted to our servers or any third party. The camera stream is discarded as soon as you leave the game.

Data we collect

When you play and save a score, we store:

Your username (chosen during sign-up via Clerk)
Your score and game mode
A hashed IP address (used solely for anti-cheat purposes, not linked to your identity)
Your approximate country (derived from Cloudflare request headers)
The timestamp of the submission

You can play without signing in. Scores submitted without an account are not saved to the leaderboard.

Authentication (Clerk)

Sign-in and account management are handled by Clerk. When you create an account, Clerk stores your email address and authentication credentials in accordance with their own privacy policy. We receive only a unique user ID and display name.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — page views, session duration, and device type. This data is aggregated and anonymized. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising

We display ads on the leaderboard and profile pages from the following networks:

Adsterra (banner ads)
Monetag (vignette and rewarded video ads)

These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing activity. They operate under their own privacy policies, linked above.

Cookies

We do not set first-party cookies ourselves. Cookies may be set by Clerk (for session management) and by our advertising and analytics partners as described above.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We share data only with the service providers listed above (Clerk, Google, Adsterra, Monetag), strictly to operate the service.

Data retention

Scores are kept on our servers indefinitely to maintain leaderboard history. If you delete your Clerk account, your username is disassociated from your scores. To request full deletion of your score data, contact us at the email below.

Children

67speedtest.com is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
